West Bromwich Albion and Burnley face off in the Championship on Sunday afternoon with both sides looking to build on positive results in their season openers.
The Baggies won 2-1 at Norwich last weekend with Aune Heggebø and Jimmy-Jay Morgan netting for the Midlands side. However, Heggebø’s goal was marred by controversy after the forward seemingly used his arm to force the ball home.
James Morrison’s side, who play Newcastle in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, narrowly avoided relegation last season but they’ll be hoping to have a much-improved campaign and potentially eye a play-off spot, which is now six teams instead of four in the Championship.
Burnley, meanwhile, came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 against Championship favourites West Ham last Sunday.
Zian Flemming netted in the 83rd and 92nd minutes to snatch a point for Nicky Hayen’s side at Turf Moor.
Burnley, who are the fourth favourites to win the league this season, will be desperate to get their first league win of the campaign before they turn their attention to their Carabao Cup second round clash against Bradford City on Wednesday evening.
