Morgan Wallen claps back at ‘nonsense’ rumors after Pittsburgh concert cancelation

Morgan Wallen has addressed the cancelation of his Saturday night concert in Pittsburgh. Wallen, who played Friday night at the city’s Acrisure Stadium, posted to his Instagram story Saturday afternoon announcing the cancelation due to “severe adverse weather conditions.” He then addressed his fans again Saturday evening following outrage after the storms didn’t quite hit as predicted. “This morning, my team walked on my bus and told me they had been consulting with local officials and that I should cancel my show in Pittsburgh tonight and I said, ‘Why?’” the divisive country singer, 33, began in an Instagram Story. “They said that there was going to be strong winds in the area, and I said, ‘OK.’ So, that is what I did and that was the information I had in the moment, and I trusted my team,” he continued. “I understand that wind hasn’t gotten to Pittsburgh yet … The truth of the matter is, I have a large stage that, in those conditions, could become fatal to a lot of folks around it. Apple’s annual developers conference, WWDC 2026, kicks off on Monday. Tim Cook will deliver his last WWDC keynote as Apple CEO, where he’s expected to share previews of the next versions of the company’s various software platforms. Likely to take center stage is iOS 27, but we will also get a glimpse at MacOS 27, which will arrive alongside its mobile sibling in a few months. The usual cycle is this: a preview and developer beta in June at WWDC, followed by a public beta in July before the official version launches in September. MacOS 27 is expected to focus more on performance and stability improvements than introducing a drastic design shift or a bevy of new features. Alexa Demie is shutting down rumors that she plans to retire after season three of Euphoria. Speculation that 35-year-old Demie — who has played Maddy Perez on the hit HBO series since its premiere in 2019 — started to swirl after a clip resurfaced from a 2020 podcast episode where Demie questioned whether there was space for Latina actors like her in Hollywood. However, she explained to The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published Sunday that she does not plan to stop acting anytime soon. “It’s like, did you ever think that I don’t want it?” she said about rumors regarding her future in Hollywood. “People really take the authority out of your hands. We’re still several months away from Apple showing us the iPhone 18, but we can still bask in leaks until then. This week, we’ve got a pair of leaks involving the cameras and colors for the upcoming flagship iPhone. On the camera side, Korean outlet ETNews (via MacRumors) reports that Apple will debut a new variable-aperture rear camera system on the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max in September. Prior to this year, all iPhones had fixed-aperture cameras, meaning the lens remained completely open during image capture. A variable aperture will allow the lens to open and close gradually depending on the situation, letting in more light in darkness or keeping excess light out in bright settings.
