Kate Middleton’s most timeless jacket is on trend for 2024

Kate Middleton’s most timeless jacket is on trend for 2024

Barn jackets have officially entered the chat for autumn/winter 2024, and this transitional staple has been spotted on none other than The Princess of Wales, giving it a lovely royal backing for the latter half of 2024. Relaxed and oversized in shape the barn jacket is a little bit dog-walker and a little bit boujie-Mum on the school run. In shades of beige, caramel, khaki and navy with contrasting corduroy collars their oversized shape gives minimum effort yet maximum effect. Princess Kate has been spotted wearing various iterations of the jacket and clearly has a soft spot for Barbour, boasting one of the brand’s collaborations with Alexa Chung in her collection.  She typically opts for muted colour palettes in soft khaki, deep cream and rich chocolate and plumps for jackets with darker collars (a preppy must-have) and lots of pockets. © OWEN HUMPHREYSKate in Little Stainton, Cambridge The beauty of the barn jacket lies in its versatility. One destination that the family usually favour, however, is their home in Sandringham, Anmer Hall, which Sky’s royal correspondent Rhiannon Mills has described as their “place of sanctuary” in the latest episode of A Right Royal podcast, with Emmy Griffiths, Andrea Caamano and HELLO!’s royal editor Emily Nash, and which you can listen to below. Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Love Story Became Public 20 Years Ago

On June 15, 2024, the world was watching as Catherine, Princess of Wales, triumphantly returned to the spotlight during the Trooping the Colour ceremony. After months of speculation regarding her health, and the announcement of her cancer diagnosis, a regal Catherine took to the balcony of Buckingham Palace with her husband, Prince William and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. As the crowd cheered, Catherine gave a grinning William a radiant smile, and a photo of the tender moment was published around the world. The mature, glamorous couple that stood on the balcony was miles away from the casual, carefree college students who were first snapped on the Swiss ski slopes of Klosters 20 years ago, but the ease, love, and mutual respect in evidence has remained the same. Kate Middleton’s Illness Means Prince William Is “Digging Deep”

Last week, a group of well-wishers asked Prince William about how his wife Kate Middleton was faring after her recent cancer diagnosis. “We’re all doing well,” he said, declining to get into the specifics. But according to a royal insider who spoke to People, the ordeal—which is complicated by King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis—has been hard on the 41-year-old prince and father of three. “Whether you’re a prince or a pauper, no one would expect anything like this with his father and his wife both being treated for cancer,” this insider said. “William is digging deep.” Another close source added that William is putting Kate and the well-being of his three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis first when deciding how to balance his public role and private life. “William is prioritizing giving her all the time she needs to get better and the support, particularly to the children,” said the source. In the years since William and Kate started their family, they have prized their privacy and spending time together. According to …
