Zagg Pro Keys 2 for iPad Pro: A Thick Keyboard Case

Zagg Pro Keys 2 for iPad Pro: A Thick Keyboard Case

I’m constantly testing different iPad cases. When I’m done, I always return to the Logitech Combo Touch. With an adjustable kickstand and a detachable keyboard, it has everything I need. The Zagg Pro Keys 2 mimics many of the capabilities of the Logitech accessory but at a lower price, so I was excited to try it, thinking I may have found a new favorite. Sadly, it falls short. It’s not completely identical to the Logitech case—it’s a lot more protective, with a folio cover that doubles as a kickstand (with adjustable angles) and a detachable keyboard that sits in between. There’s no trackpad—meaning I have to pack a mouse or constantly lift my finger to the screen—and the entire setup is heavy and clunky. At $150, it’s one of the more affordable iPad Pro keyboard cases. But its flaws are annoying enough that the lower price might not matter. Protective but Chonky The Pro Keys 2 I’m testing is specifically built for the 13-inch iPad Pro (M4, 2024), though you can also buy it for …

Understanding the Security Vulnerability The vulnerability stems from a weakness in USB restricted mode, a feature designed to limit data access through the Lightning port when a device is locked. Attackers have discovered a method to bypass this security measure, granting them access to sensitive information stored on the device. While the exploit requires physical possession of the device, it poses a significant risk, particularly in targeted attacks against individuals or organizations. Key aspects of the vulnerability include: It enables unauthorized access to locked devices via the Lightning port. …

Other Tablets to Consider OnePlus Pad Photograph: OnePlus We test tons of tablets every year. Here are a few others we like, just not as much as our picks above. OnePlus Pad for $399: The OnePlus Pad has a successor, but OnePlus says it will continue to sell the OnePlus Pad until stock runs out. It’s great value at the frequently discounted price of $300 (8/10, WIRED Recommends). Multitasking is notably efficient, aided by the company’s accessories: a Magnetic Keyboard case and a stylus. It was the first time I felt comfortable working for long stretches on an Android tablet. The 11.61-inch LCD 144-Hz display is sharp, fluid, and colorful, the battery can last nearly a full workday, and performance is smooth. It’s a shame there’s no microSD slot, headphone jack, or biometric authentication. Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus for $480: The Galaxy Tab S9 FE is the “Fan Edition” version of the flagship Tab S9 series, meaning it makes some sacrifices for a more palatable price. It comes in a Plus and standard …

It’s one of the latest Copilot+ PCs housing next-gen hardware, long-lasting battery, and a stunning OLED touchscreen. As great as it may be, the device’s generative AI features don’t perform at the same level as the rest of the machine’s features. more buying choices There’s been a lot of hype surrounding Copilot+ PCs in 2024. When they were first announced back in May, Microsoft waxed on about how well they perform, how they’re better than the M3 MacBook Air, and all the new features they’re coming with. So far, it seems consumers have responded to the hype, believing the company finally managed to create a worthwhile Windows on arm machine. This summer, I had the opportunity to test out one of these machines: the Microsoft Surface Pro 11th Edition, and I had one question in mind going into it: does it live up to the hype? Now that I’ve had a chance to test …

Apple is rumored to have many product announcements planned for the first half of next year, including updated MacBook Air models, an iPad 11, an iPhone SE 4, the AirTag 2, updated iPad Air models, and potentially more. In a social media post today, Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman reiterated that the iPad 11, iPhone SE 4, and updated iPad Air models will be coming in the “spring” next year. Notably, he said the updated 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models with the M4 chip will be announced “earlier” than those other devices, but he did not provide a specific timeframe. This likely means that the updated MacBook Air models will be announced in a press release on the Apple Newsroom website at some point from January through March, whereas the other devices might be announced at Apple’s usual spring event in March or April. Apple would be getting the minor MacBook Air update out of the way early. Apple earlier this month released macOS 15.2, and in doing so it accidentally confirmed new MacBook Air models …
