‘GTA 6’ updates: Everything new we learned this week

With less than two months until Grand Theft Auto VI finally arrives on Nov. 19, Rockstar Games is opening the vault. Game Informer published its GTA 6 cover story on Tuesday, speaking with several members of Rockstar’s leadership, including co-studio head Aaron Garbut and senior vice president of narrative Rupert Humphries. The feature fills in many of the gaps left by Netflix’s 27-minute extended look in August, especially regarding the game’s setting, its systems, and just how much of Florida Rockstar is trying to cram into a single map. Here’s everything new we learned, plus a quick refresher on what we already knew. What we already knew The basics have been locked in for a while. GTA 6 follows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a criminal duo that players can switch between. They’re a Bonnie and Clyde-type duo, and you’ll be responsible for nurturing or breaking apart their relationship. Buzziest New Show on Netflix? GTA VI

Buzziest New Show on Netflix? GTA VI

In late August, Netflix debuted a program that was so popular, it caused tech issues around the world as people signed on to watch it as soon as it went live. Streamers on Twitch and YouTube turned cameras on themselves to record their reactions, and it quickly rose to the top of the Netflix most watched movies list. But the 26-minute premiere wasn’t actually a movie, even if it was categorized as one. Nor was it a TV show, the bread and butter of the streaming platform. It was a trailer for a video game: Grand Theft Auto VI, the most hotly anticipated game of all time. And Netflix’s exclusive “extended look” became the content that everyone wanted to talk about. On Netflix’s own internal charts, the “first-of-its-kind” premiere of the game led all movies on the platform with 31.1 million views and hit No. 1 in 87 countries. (For comparison, new Robert De Niro thriller The Whisper Man was at No. 2 with 23.2 million views.) App downloads for the platform rose by 24 percent the day …

GTA 6 is almost here, if you can believe it, with less than six months to go until the game to end all games (probably not actually, though). We might not have seen Trailer 3 just yet, but with the confirmation of pre-orders and the game’s cover art, it seems like we can safely say that another delay is not on the cards. There are plenty of rumours about the game, including the size of the map, how much it will cost and more, and hopefully we’ll find out a bit more about it soon enough. So, as we while away the hours still playing GTA 5, here’s everything you need to know about the GTA 6 release date, pre-orders and latest news! GTA 6 release date Cal Hampton. Rockstar Games GTA 6 will release on 19 November 2026. The GTA 6 CEO is more pro-AI than you might think

The GTA 6 CEO is more pro-AI than you might think

If you have been gobbling up any GTA 6-related piece of news, then you probably saw that Take Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick did a big interview with Chris Dring of The Game Business. But, with the headline “The notion that AI can make GTA is laughable”, you would be forgiven for thinking he is completely anti-AI – however, he is more pro-AI than you might think. Certainly, AI is a thorny subject, if the recent reveal of Nvidia’s DLSS 5 is anything to go by. We also just saw Crimson Desert developers Pearl Abyss apologise for the inclusion of “2D visual props” following the game’s release. Want to see this content?
