Colman Domingo Is Suddenly Everywhere, From Euphoria to Disclosure Day

Colman Domingo Is Suddenly Everywhere, From Euphoria to Disclosure Day

After the 2024 Golden Globes, Glen Powell found himself on a plane that also happened to be transporting an entire girls soccer team. After blowing through what he estimated to be 30 selfies over the course of a 15-minute boarding process, Powell lowered his baseball cap over his eyes and attempted to decompress. A few seconds later, two hands came out of nowhere and shook him.  “I’m like, ‘What is happening?’ ” he remembers. “I look up and I was two inches away from his face, and he goes, ‘You sexy son of a bitch!’ ” This is how Powell first met Colman Domingo.  Jacquemus suit, shirt, tie; Boucheron jewelry; Omega watch. Photographed by Emman Montalvan The introduction was not unwarranted — they had just been cast to star alongside each other in the remake of The Running Man. Domingo asked Powell to have dinner together that evening, or at least the best approximation of a dinner that can be offered at 30,000 feet. Crowded in the galley with the flight attendants, they ate airline …

Zendaya 'Spent About Three Days Buried Up To Her Neck' For Dramatic Euphoria Stunt

Zendaya 'Spent About Three Days Buried Up To Her Neck' For Dramatic Euphoria Stunt

Zendaya as Rue in Euphoria Euphoria creator Sam Levinson has heaped praise on Zendaya after she was really put through the ringer filming a stunt in the latest episode of the award-winning drama. Zendaya’s character Rue has been on quite the journey so far in Euphoria’s third season, descending even further into a criminal underworld as she works to pay off her mounting debts. In Monday’s instalment, Rue was kidnapped and dragged out to the desert, where she was buried up to the neck, in another nod to season three’s Western themes, before having dirt kicked in her face and being threatened with a croquet mallet by the crime boss Alamo. Sam explained in a new behind-the-scenes video: “It’s sort of an old Western trope, you know, ‘we’re gonna bury you up to your neck’. “It was a really complicated thing to pull off, because we wanted to shoot it practically – so it meant that we had to build some container with a box that Zendaya could duck under in the case of an …

OnlyFans creators slam Euphoria over Sydney Sweeney’s ‘cartoonish’ sex worker

OnlyFans creators slam Euphoria over Sydney Sweeney’s ‘cartoonish’ sex worker

OnlyFans models have hit out at HBO show Euphoria over various inaccuracies they say have appeared in Sydney Sweeney’s depiction of what it’s like to work on the platform. In the third and final season of the series, Sweeney’s character Cassie becomes an OnlyFans creator in order to pay for her wedding. The character is shown dressing up in various costumes as part of this work, including as a baby and a dog. Maitland Ward, an OnlyFans creator who previously starred in the ABC sitcom Boy Meets World, told Variety: “In the climate we’re in, that they dressed her up as a baby to make pornographic OnlyFans content was beyond troubling and again serves to perpetuate stereotypes that sex workers have no moral compass and that they will do anything for money.” Ward continued: “And there’s always this untrue stigma that somehow sex work is synonymous with sex trafficking and abuse. And they just said, let’s make a joke of it. That is so funny. I’m not laughing.” Sydney Sweeney stars as an OnlyFans creator …

‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Release Schedule: When Does Episode 2 Come Out?

The HBO drama Euphoria is premiering new episodes. It may be hard to believe that the previous season wrapped up in 2022. On my TikTok “For You” page, I still see 4-year-old clips on the regular.  Season 3 takes place five years after season 2 (see our finale recap here), well after high school. The new season once again stars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Colman Domingo and Eric Dane. It adds new guest stars such as Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Danielle Deadwyler, Natasha Lyonne and Trisha Paytas. According to an official synopsis, season 3 sees “a group of childhood friends wrestle with the virtue of faith, the possibility of redemption and the problem of evil.” While it’s swapped from HBO Max to Max and back to HBO Max again in the time it’s taken for Euphoria to return to TV, you’ll be able to tune into the HBO streaming service for new episodes each week. Here’s a release schedule for Euphoria season 3. When to watch Euphoria season 3 on HBO Max …

‘Euphoria’ Season 3: What happened to everyone during the time jump?

What have Rue Bennett (Zendaya) and her Euphoria crew been up to in the five-year time jump between Euphoria Seasons 2 and 3? In the words of Rue herself, “Nothing good.” SEE ALSO: ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 review: It should be great. Instead, it’s gross. From drug smuggling to making moves in Hollywood, here’s what happened to each of the Euphoria characters during the time jump. Keep in mind that several Season 1 and 2 characters, like Kat (Barbie Ferreira), Gia (Storm Reid), Ethan (Austin Abrams), and McKay (Algee Smith), are no longer in the show. We’ll just be focusing on the fates of the characters who are still in Season 3. Rue Bennett Zendaya in “Euphoria.” Credit: Patrick Wymore / HBO Rue has been through it since the Season 2 finale. A few years out of high school, she was working at a smoke stand, only to get tracked down by drug dealer Laurie (Martha Kelly). Four years after the release of Euphoria season 2, the third season of the HBO series is finally here. It’s been a long wait for fans of the angsty, teen drama and now, our cast of main characters have all grown up and gone out into the adult world – but their problems continue. As the premiere episode maps out, things have gone awry for Rue (Zendaya) with the missing suitcase of drugs from season 2 certainly proving to not be a simple thing that could be forgotten by Laurie (Martha Kelly). Now indebted to her and working as a drugs mule, we get insight into Rue’s new lifestyle as she winds up south of the border in Mexico. But that’s not all, we get snippets into what Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) is up to, engaged and waiting to be wed to Nate (Jacob Elordi), as well as hints of where some of the other main cast have wound up. ‘Euphoria’ Season 3: A Reunion No One Wants to Attend

‘Euphoria’ Season 3: A Reunion No One Wants to Attend

Early in Euphoria’s newest season, a whisper of a young woman walks down a crowded street in Mexico. She has swallowed several tiny bags of powdered fentanyl, each so-called balloon ingested painfully with the help of a bottle of cheap lubricant. As Rue (played by Zendaya) narrates that these balloons need to stay intact, the woman collapses. The next scene finds her dead, a mess of balloons piled next to her. Welcome back to TV’s most disturbing show—sort of. The HBO drama about disaffected Gen Zers has never been an easy watch, but its latest season is working overtime to provoke viewers. Set five years after the events of the Season 2 finale, Season 3 of Euphoria has brought back the bulk of its cast, whose characters are now in their 20s and in various states of torment. Rue, who began the series as an addict returning from rehab, is now forced to work for a local drug queenpin. Nate (Jacob Elordi) has taken over the family construction business and is in dangerous financial trouble; …

‘Euphoria’ Season 3: How to Watch the Premiere Episode

It may be hard to believe that Euphoria’s last season wrapped up in 2022 (at least for me and my TikTok “For You” page, where I still see 4-year-old clips on the regular). The HBO drama will soon premiere its third and possibly final season. ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 review: It should be great. Instead, it’s gross.

‘Euphoria’ Season 3 review: It should be great. Instead, it’s gross.

“Anyone can reinvent themselves.” These are the words of menacing Euphoria Season 3 newcomer Alamo (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje). He speaks them to Rue (Zendaya) as she comes to a crossroads on her winding journey to redemption, but he might as well be describing series creator Sam Levinson’s thought process coming into Season 3. This time around, reinvention is the name of the game, as Euphoria moves from gritty teen drama to seedy neo-Western. SEE ALSO: ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 trailer: Rue’s on the run, Jules is a sugar baby, and I’m worried On the one hand, some form of reinvention is necessary. Euphoria‘s Season 2 finale aired four years ago. After that hiatus, it would be ridiculous to return to high school as if nothing had changed, especially since, during that time away, cast members like Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, and Sydney Sweeney blossomed into megawatt movie stars through decidedly non-high school roles. On the other hand, the path Levinson chooses for Euphoria Season 3 opens the show up to its worst impulses, marring its technical splendor and …
