Log in Ozzy Osbourne was given medical advice not to take the stage for his farewell show in Birmingham, according to his widow Sharon Osbourne. The legendary musician did, however, end up reuniting with his band Black Sabbath for the “Back to the Beginning” concert at Birmingham’s Villa Park on July 5, 2025. He died weeks later on July 22. A film of that final show, titled Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning will be released in theaters October 28. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Sharon Osbourne recalled the grim advice her husband received from doctors ahead of the gig. “He was in hospital in America before he left,” said Sharon. “We moved back to England, and we had a whole new team of doctors. His new doctors didn’t want to take doctor’s notes from America. They wanted to make their own assessment on him. He was in hospital for a …

Log in Pedro Pascal has described learning the cello for Behemoth! as the “most challenging” task he has encountered in his acting career. The 51-year-old star of The Last Of Us plays Alex Serian in the upcoming feature film, portraying a gifted, classically trained musician who returns to Los Angeles and film scoring after touring globally. In order to depict the character believably, the actor had to pick up the cello under strict time constraints. Appearing on the red carpet at the UK premiere for the BFI London Film Festival, Pascal confessed that learning the instrument was “the most challenging” endeavor he has managed across his entire career. The actor noted that he would rather “choose fighting the Mountain”, referencing the brutal warrior in HBO’s Game Of Thrones which he previously featured in, “over learning how to play the cello convincingly”. He added that he would also prefer being tossed “off a …

Log in The reviews are in for Nathan Fielder’s highly-anticipated documentary about convicted fraudster Elizabeth Holmes ahead of its US premiere – and critics are calling it “the film of the year”. Directed by Fielder and Primetime’s Lance Oppenheim, You Can See Everything sees Holmes invite the filmmakers into her home just days before being sent to prison, with filming taking place in secret over three years. Holmes, 42, was convicted of fraud in 2022 after claiming that her startup, Theranos, had developed a revolutionary medical device that could diagnose a range of conditions with just a few droplets of blood extracted from the tip of a finger. After being found to have duped investors with technology that never worked, she was sentenced to 11 years in prison and started her time at a Texas facility in May 2023. The film is set to land in US theatres on 16 October and …

Log in The transformation of K-pop from a niche subculture to a global phenomenon has given its fans rare collective power in popular music: they can raise money for charity, mobilise political campaigns and turn unknown performers into global stars. They can also turn those same networks into engines of online harassment against anyone they accuse of crossing a line. And the consequences can be deadly. In August, a 26-year-old Japanese fan of boy group Enhyphen was found dead in her rented apartment in Seoul. She was well-known within the fandom, attending concerts and meet-and-greets and running social media accounts about the group. She became the centre of a controversy after trying to catch a group member’s attention at a US concert. Footage of the moment quickly travelled through the fandom, and many construed it as attention-seeking behaviour and a breach of idol-fan boundaries. The backlash quickly devolved into personal attacks and …

Log in This Paris Fashion Week, nothing has stood out more than who sits front row with whom – and the biggest trend seems to be taking your daughter as your plus one. At the gold-drenched Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2027 open-air show last week at the Trocadéro, with the Eiffel Tower shimmering behind the runway, Kate Moss, 52, was in the front row with her plus one daughter Lila, 23. It’s become a ritual over the last few years for the Moss women to attend Saint Laurent shows together in Paris, as well as to be inseparable on the ‘frow’ at endless other fashion shows over the years. In 2025, they famously held hands at the Gucci Cruise fashion show at London’s Tate Modern. And in February, the mum-daughter duo were spotted sitting front row at the Burberry Fall/Winter 2026 show during London Fashion Week, looking like twins. The former supermodel also …

The British guitarist, 79, revealed that he designed a Queen immersive experience, similar to ABBA’s virtual concert ABBA Voyage, but wouldn’t move forward with the show until it was possible without AI. “I have serious misgivings about that,” the musician told The Times. “We all like AI. It helps us write emails. It’s even saved a few lives. But the harm it is bringing to the world is immense,” he said. May shared that he’d even nixed a video for his recent song “My Angels Are Calling” after its directors admitted they’d …

Some of the early stories were marvellous, the way that they wove all the threads together and told the different character stories and backstories,” Cage, 62, said at the Fan Expo Dallas. The MCU began in 2008 with Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr as billionaire industrialist Tony Stark, and what initially looked like a standalone superhero film became the starting point for an interconnected film universe.
