Normal People star’s Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow adaptation gets release date

Paramount has revealed when fans can expect Daisy Edgar-Jones’s new movie Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow to land.

The adaptation of the bestselling novel by Gabrielle Zevin, which tells a love story between Sadie Green and Sam Masur, two friends who meet as children and reunite as adults to create video games, will be released in cinemas on 12 November 2027.

Normal People and Where the Crawdads Sing star Edgar-Jones will play games designer Green. The rest of the cast is yet to be announced.

The film is being written and directed by CODA filmmaker Siân Heder, who is also producing alongside Temple Hill’s Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and Isaac Klausner.

The official logline reads: “A modern love story about two friends who meet as children and reunite as adults to create video games, finding an intimacy in digital storytelling that eludes them in their real lives.”

It continues: “The relationship explores the passion, and heartbreak of creative collaboration, set against the visually groundbreaking worlds brought to life by the rising video game industry of the 1990s-2000s.”

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow was published in 2022 and has sold over four million copies worldwide. The novel also spent a year on the New York Times bestseller list.

Edgar-Jones is best known for her breakout role in BBC Three’s Normal People, as well as her subsequent roles in the likes of Twisters, Fresh and War of the Worlds.

She’s also set to appear on our screens in a handful of upcoming projects including the Simon Kinberg-penned crime thriller Here Comes the Flood and Georgia Oakley’s new adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility.

I studied medicine at Trinity College, Oxford, and qualified as a doctor. There are already many excellent blogs exploring faith, humanism, atheism, politics, rationalism, philosophical doubt and everything in between. But I don't intend to limit myself to any particular subject. This is simply a space where I'll share whatever comes to mind, whether it's something I've been thinking about for years or just a passing thought from the day.
