French Open 2026 seeded players | Men’s and women’s seeds and tracker

Tennis’ elite will battle it out on the Paris clay over the next few weeks at the French Open – the sport’s second major of the year.

In the absence of defending champion Carlos Alcaraz, top seed Jannik Sinner is the clear favourite in the men’s singles after a dominant start to 2026.

World No 1 Aryna Sabalenka, who is aiming to complete the Grand Slam with a win at Roland-Garros, leads the women’s draw but faces plenty of competition, including 2025 winner Coco Gauff and Iga Swiatek.

Jack Draper is out due to injury and Emma Raducanu has fallen down the rankings, leaving Cam Norrie as the only Brit among the seeded players in the French capital.

Want to know more about which players were seeded going into the tournament and who is still in the draw? Radio Times brings you the full lists of seeded men’s and women’s players.

As the tournament progresses, we will update the seeded lists detailing when each player is eliminated so you can track their progress.

I studied medicine at Trinity College, Oxford, and qualified as a doctor. There are already many excellent blogs exploring faith, humanism, atheism, politics, rationalism, philosophical doubt and everything in between. But I don't intend to limit myself to any particular subject. This is simply a space where I'll share whatever comes to mind, whether it's something I've been thinking about for years or just a passing thought from the day.
