Apple TV has become a major competitor in the streaming market – with its collection of critically acclaimed TV shows among the best in the business.
But it has also been making waves when it comes to film releases, with some major Oscar success stories in recent years including a shock best picture win for CODA and 10 nominations for Martin Scorsese’s superb Killers of the Flower Moon – even if it sadly failed to win any.
There have been brilliant additions to the platform of late, with David Freyne’s latest film Eternity and twisty flick Echo Valley, which stars Julianne Moore.
You could also try some of Apple TV’s documentary films, including the sobering Bread and Roses and Sidney, about the first black actor to win an Academy Award, Sidney Poitier.
If you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed by the amount of movies on offer, not to worry – the team at Radio Times have selected the biggest and best flicks for you to dive straight into.
