Nike’s cream-colored Air Max 90 sneaker isn’t as simple as it seems. This Swoosh stepper has a few subtle, cool twists.
Most notably, this Air Max 90 sneaker is extra Swooshed-up. A tiny brown embroidered logo sits on the toe box, along with the signature motif on the sidewall. Not a problem at all. It just means these come with a little more Nike love.
Also, the “Cream II” Air Max is reflective. So, when the light hits it just right, the signature “Air Max” badge on the side glows up. A reflective finish or detail typically makes a simple design a little cooler.
Beyond its quiet surprises, the Air Max 90 brings the usual comfort with stacked soles featuring Nike’s Air cushioning. It’s also layered with smooth leather and woven textures, which pair nicely with the “cream” and brown colors.
The design’s pretty military-coded — that’s if military shoes got to rock mini Swooshes and glowy Air Max logos.
Nike’s Air Max 90 has seen plenty of fresh spins this season. We’ve seen the model dressed in padded leather and other cool colorways. The “Cream II” only advances the stylish streak.
Retailing for $135, the Air Max 90 “Cream II” sneakers are now up for grabs on Nike’s website.
