Alicia on Ferrero Partnership, Season 2

Alicia on Ferrero Partnership, Season 2

Alicia Carmody’s life has done a full 180 since it was announced she joined The Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast not even a year ago. Five months after the show debuted on Bravo, the Housewife is deep into filming on the highly anticipated second season, but she squeezed in some time to chat with The Hollywood Reporter about her new partnership with Ferrero celebrating Adultoween. “I love Halloween. I love snacks. I love Ferrero. I love a Butterfinger. I love a Kinder Egg. So it kind of just like all worked out,” Alicia says when asked why she wanted to partner with the food company behind snacks such as Nutella, Kinder and Tic Tac. Alicia adds of the partnership, “Halloween has always been one of my favorite times of year. It’s really about embracing that sense of play and not taking yourself too seriously. That’s exactly what Adultoween is about: Giving adults permission to be creative and have fun again, the way we did as kids. And honestly, snacking is such a huge part …

Filming Sched, DWTS Season 35

Ciara Miller and Tefi Pessoa entered the whirlwind that is the Love Island cinematic universe this summer when they signed on as co-hosts of its sister series Aftersun.    Pegged as Love Island USA’s companion show to unpack each week’s drama, Miller and Pessoa have what many past hosts of Aftersun don’t: Chemistry. Both women have gone viral in their own right, with their castings as co-hosts breathing life into the series, making it appointment television right alongside new episodes of Love Island USA.  What do Miller and Pessoa attribute to the newfound success of Aftersun? “Women on the mic,” the Summer House star tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I feel like, obviously, there’s an epidemic of men on podcasts, and this is our effort to uproot that.” Pessoa adds, “I think that we are two people who have opinions, but we also aren’t vicious people, unless you give us a reason to be. Then I can get creative.”  Each week, Miller and Pessoa prep for Aftersun just like you and I do, by catching up on …

Is The Valley Boring Without Jax? Fans Critique Season 3 as ‘Boring’

Is The Valley Boring Without Jax? Fans Critique Season 3 as ‘Boring’

Viewers of The Valley campaigned for Jax Taylor to be removed from the show’s call sheet last year after displaying disturbing behavior on and off screen. But now, with the arrival of the series’ junior season, some watchers are singing a different tune. At the center of season two’s storyline was a domestic incident that occurred between Jax and his wife, Brittany Cartwright. In the series premiere, the former couple recounted a moment where Jax got angry and flipped a coffee table, which bruised Brittany’s knee. At the first Valley reunion, Brittany alleged Jax broke her Stanley cup, phone, laptop and threw her into a bush, though he denied her claims.  Then came the announcement many Bravo viewers were waiting for: Jax was to step away from The Valley, to focus on his sobriety, mental health and coparenting with Brittany.  Jax’s behavior on season two did not make the decision shocking to those watching the show, and it was rather reminiscent of his firing from Vanderpump Rules back in 2020. Last year, Valley viewers flooded …

How Bravo Cast, Created New Series

How Bravo Cast, Created New Series

The smallest state with the biggest attitude is already making waves in the Real Housewives franchise.  Last May, Bravo announced that Rhode Island would be the latest addition to its repertoire, enticing viewers to see what the women of the teeny tiny state could be getting into. As it turns out, there’s a lot going on in the smallest state in the nation.   The arrival of the new series arrives amid the landmark 20th anniversary of the whole franchise itself, as The Real Housewives of Orange County debuted on March 21, 2006. It’s a monumental year for the reality television phenomenon that will later be celebrated with The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th special this year.  NCBUniversal’s evp of unscripted content, Rachel Smith, tells The Hollywood Reporter that it was not a “conscious decision” to launch a new series, even though it’s such “an auspicious occasion this year.” Instead, The Real Housewives of Rhode Island naturally presented itself.  Creating a new Real Housewives is a tall task, one that can be birthed in …

‘Survivor’ Maestro Jeff Probst Is the Nicest Evil Mastermind In Reality TV

‘Survivor’ Maestro Jeff Probst Is the Nicest Evil Mastermind In Reality TV

Jeff Probst reminds Mike White of Sisyphus, the mythological king cursed to spend eternity trying, and failing, to push an enormous boulder up a steep slope. White means this as a compliment. Every time Probst embarks upon a new season of Survivor, he’s “starting again like, ‘We’re gonna do this!’ There’s something very touching about that,” the White Lotus creator tells me. “He’s on the 50th season of Survivor…. Each time he really goes into it thinking, This is gonna be the best season.” When Survivor launched in the spring of 2000, it effectively created the reality competition genre. It has aired through six presidential administrations, through 9/11 and the 2008 financial crisis, the legalization of same-sex marriage and the overturning of Roe v. Wade, the global pause initiated by the pandemic and the political unrest that has followed. Things change, but Survivor is still throwing a range of everyday Americans into an exotic location, then watching how they interact as they vote each other out, one by one. And though other OG reality hosts …

Where Are the Winners Now? (Full Interviews)

Where Are the Winners Now? (Full Interviews)

A legend of the New York City drag scene who was first renowned for her Broadway costuming, Bianca Del Rio won season six in 2014. She is the eldest winner of the mainstay franchise, one that revolutionized the drag comedy scene. Bianca is the first drag queen to headline Carnegie Hall and Wembley Arena, and has embarked on six global comedy tours. She’s the author of Blame It on Bianca Del Rio (2018), and has performed on the West End and off-Broadway. There’s no denying Bianca’s success post-Drag Race positions her as one of the most successful queens from the franchise, and she’s gearing up to hit the road again and host the official Drag Race recap series The Pit Stop.  Before you won season six, were there any fellow winners that you admired? Oh, totally. I wasn’t a Drag Race super fan initially. A lot of my friends were, and many friends were saying, “You should do it.” At that time, I just assumed I was well past my expiration date. My brain was …
