Hayden Panettiere and Melissa Barrera on the set of Scream VI Former Scream actor Melissa Barrera has paid her respects to her former co-star Hayden Panettiere, following the news of her death at the age of 36. After paying a short tribute on Instagram, Melissa issued a lengthier statement to USA Today, admitting that she was “still in shock” about the news and lamenting that “Hayden should still be here”. Back in April 2011, the late actor originated the role of Kirby Reed in Scream 4, returning to the franchise for the sixth instalment in 2023, by which point Melissa had joined the franchise. Hayden also returned for the seventh film, which was released earlier this year. However, Melissa wasn’t involved in the series at this point, after being reportedly dropped from the franchise due to speaking out as a staunch supporter of Palestine, amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga and Dolores Catania are returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey for season 15. The three longtime Housewives are the only castmembers who starred in season 14 that Bravo has confirmed are rejoining the series for the upcoming installment. Confirmation of their return also comes after a brief pause in production on the series. The latest episode of RHONJ, the disastrous season 14 finale, aired in August 2024, with no official news about the show being announced since then. Teresa, Melissa and Dolores will be joined by a slate of fresh faces, who have not been announced yet, marking a mini RHONJ revamp.
