Meet Perseus, the dalmatian pup with heart-shaped spots around his eyes

Meet Perseus – an adorable dalmatian pup with heart-shaped spots around his eyes. Owner Chloe Neff, 26, picked up Perseus, also known as Percy, from a breeder in March last year when he was just eight weeks old. Chloe knew Percy had heterochromia – a condition which means he has different coloured eyes – when she picked him up. But she didn’t notice they were in the shape of a heart until later. Chloe, a dog groomer from Baltimore, Maryland, USA, said: “He is the most outgoing, goofiest, sweetest, cuddliest, all around amazing dog. Source link

‘Most eligible bachelor’ Duke of Westminster to marry – but all eyes are on William and Harry | Monarchy

‘Most eligible bachelor’ Duke of Westminster to marry – but all eyes are on William and Harry | Monarchy

When Hugh Grosvenor, the seventh Duke of Westminster, marries at Chester Cathedral next week the 33-year-old will relinquish the status bestowed on him by society bibles of Britain’s “richest, most eligible bachelor”. It is not just his £10bn inherited wealth and pole position in the Sunday Times list of 40 richest people under 40 in the UK that means his marriage to Olivia Henson, 31, is being billed as the society wedding of the year. A 400-strong guest list will probably include many whose pedigrees grace the pages of Burke’s Peerage. He is also among the UK’s wealthiest landowners after inheriting from his father in 2016 a property portfolio worth an estimated £10.13bn, including land in Lancashire and Scotland and 300 acres of prime estate in Mayfair and Belgravia. What also puts the wedding right up there on the society calendar is his family’s longstanding links to the royal family. King Charles is his godfather. Grosvenor, known as “Hughie”, is himself godfather to the Prince of Wales’s heir and the future king, Prince George, 10. …

‘All eyes on Rafah’: how AI-generated image swept across social media | Israel-Gaza war

An image depicting refugee tents spelling out the phrase “all eyes on Rafah” has become one of the most-shared pieces of content relating to the Israel-Gaza war, spreading rapidly on social media this week. Viral ‘All Eyes on Rafah’ image seems AI-generated. What does the phrase mean?

Viral ‘All Eyes on Rafah’ image seems AI-generated. What does the phrase mean?

“All Eyes on Rafah,” reads the image. The words are spelled out in rows of white tents, a backdrop of mountains in the distance. More than 40 million Instagram users have shared this graphic to their stories using a user-generated template in recent days, according to Instagram. The viral graphic appeared after a deadly Israeli strike Sunday on a tent encampment for displaced people in Rafah in southern Gaza, which killed 45 people and elicited worldwide outrage. Unlike other graphic imagery about the war that has gone viral, this image is likely to have been generated by artificial intelligence. Some on social media have criticized the image as replacing distressing footage of what’s actually happening in Gaza — from photographers and people on the ground — with a fake image generated by technology. Here’s what we know about the image, and where the phrase comes from. What do experts say about the ‘All Eyes on Rafah’ image? Felix M. Simon, a communication researcher at the Oxford Internet Institute, said he was “confident” that the viral …

Keith Urban Only Has Eyes for Nicole Kidman at the 2024 Met Gala

Nicole Kidman had millions of eyes on her as she arrived at the 2024 Met Gala — including her husband, Keith Urban.  The A-list couple showed up at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday for fashion’s biggest night, and it was filled with romance. Together, the pair attended this year’s “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and celebrated the theme — “The Garden of Time.”  Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban attended the 2024 Met Gala. – Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images Kidman was the picture of elegance in a mermaid gown that featured an ivory and silk top — with matching gloves — that perfectly melted into a feathered black skirt. Kidman’s blonde tresses flowed past her shoulders as she took her moment on the carpet.  Speaking to ET, Kidman dished about her look, and how it’s on theme with the romance.  “It was based on a beautiful Abaddon photo of Balenciaga dress and Demna recreated it with a little bit of a modern twist,” she told ET. “It’s kissing this gown to life which is sort of …

Only those with eyes like a hawk will spot the hidden number in just 9 seconds | Weird | News

One of the best things about brainteasers is their variety, their colour, and the different forms they can come in. There are three main types of brainteaser, observational brainteasers, mathematical brainteasers, and analytical brainteasers. Mathematical brainteasers pose a maths question to the user who then has to solve that problem as quickly as possible. Analytical brainteasers often pose a written riddle or other form of tongue twister that needs to be unravelled. Observational brainteasers such as the one above by Jagran Josh may seem simple at first but still require the user to think because they often task someone with finding an anomaly in an image. In the graphic above, people are faced with what looks like a blank yellow page, but within this page is a number. The goal of this brainteaser is to work out what that number is. Did you spot the number? No worries if not, it is outlined above. If you looked closely you would have spotted the number 725. The key to this brainteaser is to focus on the …

“Audibly sniffling”: Trump “locks his eyes” on Hope Hicks as she breaks down in tears

“Audibly sniffling”: Trump “locks his eyes” on Hope Hicks as she breaks down in tears

Former Trump aide Hope Hicks broke down in tears on the stand Friday just as the ex-president’s defense team was beginning to cross examine her — and just after she testified that it would be “out of character” for Michael Cohen to have paid $130,000 in hush money to a adult film star without expecting anyone to pay him back. Hicks, who helped lead Trump’s communications strategy during the 2016 campaign and his time in office, earlier Friday said that she was “nervous” to be testifying in Manhattan hush money case. While she praised Trump as a “very hard worker,” she also offered details useful to the prosecution, saying she had heard Trump and Cohen discuss the hush payment to Stormy Daniels after the Wall Street Journal publicly revealed its existence in 2018. The New York Times’ Kate Christobek, reporting from inside the courtroom where Trump is being tried on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, wrote that the former president “largely avoided looking at Hicks” as she spoke. But that changed just as …

Trump Roasted Over ‘Beautiful Blue Eyes’ Comment

Trump Roasted Over ‘Beautiful Blue Eyes’ Comment

The former president attempted to deny claims that he’s had a hard time staying awake during his hush money trial, writing on his Truth Social platform that he’s not snoozing in court but simply closing his “beautiful blue eyes” and listening “intensely” to the proceedings. Trump’s supposed excuse for closing his eyelids was brutally mocked on social media, including from reporters who were observing him in the courtroom. “Trump is closing his ‘beautiful blue eyes’ again,” reporter Adam Klasfeld posted on X, formerly Twitter, adding that it was “presumably to take in the finer technical points of data extraction of digital evidence being not-so-dramatically recounted by the forensic witness.” Other reactions to the post were brutal.
