A new signature Barbie doll has been created in the likeness of Celine Dion. The doll’s outfit recreates the navy, long-sleeved dress Dion wore for her performance of the Titanic theme song “My Heart Will Go On” at the Academy Awards in 1998. A blue necklace is also part of the design, inspired by the “heart of the ocean” jewel, which plays an important role in the 1997 blockbuster. The doll’s hair is styled into an updo. It also wears a pair of silver earrings. The 2026 Emmy nominations have been revealed. The Pitt leads all nominees with a total of 25, followed by Hacks with 24 (a record for a comedy series for noms in a single year) and Widow’s Bay with 19 (leading all new shows). Other shows earning double-digit noms were Pluribus (18 total noms), Beef (16), DTF St. Louis (13) and Saturday Night Live and Spider-Noir (11 apiece). The first two categories — best variety series and reality competition — were announced on the Today show earlier Wednesday. Past Emmy winners Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear) and Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere) unveiled more of this year’s Emmy nominees at 830 a.m. PT in a ceremony that streamed live from the TV Academy’s Saban Media Center. A “complete rethink” of how young people are supported to succeed “has to start with the education system”, prime ministerial hopeful Andy Burnham has said. During a speech launching his campaign to replace Keir Starmer, the former mayor of Greater Manchester said “the days of a school system configured entirely around the university route will be brought to an end”. Burnham, a former shadow education secretary, did not reveal further details of his planned educational reforms, but did announce his intention to devolve greater powers to local areas. He also set out plans to open “Number 10 North”, an office of the prime minister based in Manchester, which would drive his devolution agenda. His comments come after a damning report by former minister Alan Milburn found education was failing to prepare children for adulthood.
