Radio DJ Glenn Ong says he’s lost 11kg from the time he was ‘unhappily married’

[ad_1] “Time really flies. 55 on Sunday,” Ong said in the caption of his post, adding that he has been working out with a trainer two to three times weekly for the past two years.  He continued: “From an unhealthy 84kg when I was unhappily married to a crazy happy 73kg now! “Always choose happy if you can,” Ong added in all caps. He continued that he still could not seem to hit his target weight of 70kg, but he will settle for 72 to 73kg because he feels “really awesome” now.  “Last time I was in this shape was when I was 21! If I can do it guys and gals so can you! Ready to take on the world!”  Ong’s post comes over a week after Danker shared a few anecdotes about her dating and post-divorce life, including the fact that she’s being asked out by younger men.  Danker was Ong’s third wife. The former couple do not have children.   [ad_2] Source link

Here’s The Full ‘Confirmed’ List Of Celebrity Traitors – With Some Exciting New Names

[ad_1] Celebs like Kate Garraway, Bob Mortimer, and, of course, Stephen Fry have long been pipped as likely members of the upcoming UK Celebrity Traitors. And today, The Mirror has published a list of names they say will appear in the upcoming season. “The team making the show are expecting it to be quite different to the regular version because the celebrities will be less motivated by the prize fund but care far more about how they come across,” The Mirror says a “source” confirmed. But before we share the updated list, though, a word of caution. Having asked the BBC, who will run Celebrity Traitors UK, what they thought of the selection, a spokesperson told HuffPost UK: “The Traitors includes lies and deception, so it would be foolhardy for any Faithful to speculate before the game has begun.” 1) Kate Garraway In March, The Sun suggested Kate had signed a contract for the first UK version of the spin-off. She has previously starred in Strictly Come Dancing and I’m A Celebrity. 2) Stephen Fry …

Celebrity Big Brother review: It’s time to put this bleak show out of its misery

[ad_1] Get our free weekly email for all the latest cinematic news from our film critic Clarisse Loughrey Get our The Life Cinematic email for free Get our The Life Cinematic email for free When ITV resurrected Celebrity Big Brother in 2024, after this ailing format had languished in TV purgatory for more than half a decade, it seemed to promise a bright new era for a show that has always suffered from a bit of an image problem. Yes, it lacked the sequins and sob stories of Strictly. And it couldn’t lay claim to the high stakes and hardships of I’m a Celebrity. But there would be devious twists! A decent budget! And, as a consequence, proper celebrities! It’d have the camp factor of the previous seasons that aired on Channels 4 and 5, but with ITV’s financial heft behind it, to blow away the faint musty smell of desperation that had always clung to CBB. What they gave us, though, was pretty underwhelming. Last year’s season amounted to countless hours of X Factor …

Betty White, TV’s Golden Girl, celebrated at stamp ceremony in Los Angeles

[ad_1] Betty White is making her mark on the nation’s snail mail. The beloved actor of The Golden Girls fame was celebrated with a new US Postal Service stamp at a first-day-of-issue ceremony at the Los Angeles Zoo on Thursday (Mar 27). Fans that were crowded behind barricades cheered as a blue curtain dropped to reveal the stamp featuring a portrait of White against a violet-colored background with lighter shades of bubbly spots in a nod to her sparkling personality. She wears a blue polka-dot blouse and peeking out of her blond curls is an earring shaped like a pawprint. “When I was working on the stamp surrounding myself with Betty White videos and pictures, I felt like I was working on a portrait of a family member,” Boston-based artist Dale Stephanos said. “I wanted Betty’s huge personality to take center stage.” The illustration is based on a photo taken by Kwaku Alston in 2010. At the celebration, singer-songwriter Ellis Hall performed a snippet of Thank You for Being a Friend, the theme song to …

Taylor and Who?! Celebrity Fan Fiction as an Ethical Dilemma

[ad_1] Fan fiction (the practice of fans writing and reading imagined stories about their favorite characters) is now widely discussed in mainstream media articles. While there is still some stigma around the practice, particularly in the assumption that all fanfiction is poorly written (it’s not), fans no longer feel like they have to hide their fanfic reading habits. There is one type of fan fiction, however, which still raises eyebrows—fictional stories written about celebrities who are, of course, not fictional. Real person fanfiction, or RPF, is considered by some fans to be unethical. It is also quite popular. Fan communities have a rich history of setting their own norms and policing their own members, so debate about whether or not RPF is “okay” has been ongoing for decades. A research article last month took an interesting look at how that discussion itself may be beneficial for fans in terms of identity and moral development. The Popularity of RPF In a recent episode of the British television series Taskmaster, one of the co-hosts casually mentioned to …

The Download: Underage celebrity chatbots, and OpenAI’s latest model

[ad_1] Botify AI, a site for chatting with AI companions that’s backed by the venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, hosts bots resembling real actors that state their age as under 18, engage in sexually charged conversations, offer “hot photos,” and in some instances describe age-of-consent laws as “arbitrary” and “meant to be broken.” When MIT Technology Review tested the site this week, we found popular user-created bots taking on underage characters meant to resemble Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, Emma Watson as Hermione Granger, and Millie Bobby Brown, among others.  The conversations—along with the fact that Botify AI includes “send a hot photo” as a feature for its characters—suggest that the ability to elicit sexually charged conversations and images is not accidental. Instead, sexually suggestive conversations appear to be baked in.
