Log in Billy Joel has shed new light on his health and potential return to the stage. Joel, 77, shared last year that he had been diagnosed with the brain condition hydrocephalus after suffering an onstage fall. He has since been forced to cancel a series of concert dates. Asked in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter if he’ll be able to tour again in the future, Joel answered bluntly: “I don’t know.” “I have to take a series of tests before I know, but I can’t drive right now. I’m not allowed to drive,” he continued. “And I can’t do performances because what the neurologist told me, every time you do a show, it’s like you’re getting a concussion.” Pressed further about his condition and why performing takes such a toll, Joel elaborated: “Rock ‘n’ roll is loud, man. Rock ‘n’ roll made me deaf already. So it’s the lighting, …

Tom Baker addresses whether he’d return to Doctor Who on screen

Legendary Doctor Who star Tom Baker has continued his association with the series right up to the present day, with the Fourth Doctor star set to appear in more audio adventures which will be released next year. However, he was last seen on screen back in 2013, appearing as The Curator in 50th anniversary special The Day of the Doctor. Now, as AUK’s Kickstarter campaign for his new Sherlock Holmes audio drama Sir Sherlock: The Doctor’s Son nears its launch, Baker has addressed whether he would ever return to Doctor Who once more on screen, while speaking exclusively to Radio Times. “These great big scripts used to arrive, when I was doing Big Finish, and I’d struggle to carry them. They were heavy,” Baker said of a potential return to the sci-fi show. “A lot of them I did at a studio but then Sue – my wife – and I, we used to record them from home. That was a lot easier. I used to like to tweak the script, too. “Because people assume …

BBC Addresses Claims That Strictly Star's Pro-Trans Message Was Edited Out Of Show

The BBC has responded to controversy over reports that it censored a pro-trans message displayed on a t-shirt worn by Strictly Come Dancing star Bethany Antonia during a rehearsal. On Saturday night, Bethany performed her third routine with professional partner Nancy Xu, once again sailing through to the next stage of the contest. Before the performance, the House Of The Dragon actor was seen in a pre-recorded video wearing what appeared to be a plain white t-shirt in rehearsals with Nancy. The slogan on Strictly contestant Bethany Antonia’s t-shirt could be faintly seen in certain angles, while in others, it was totally censored However, viewers pointed out that in previously-shared behind-the-scenes footage, Bethany had been wearing a “protect the dolls” t-shirt, in a display of solidarity with trans women. This led to a conversation about whether the BBC had been censoring Bethany’s message by blurring the slogan on her top, eventually prompting a response from the broadcaster. Bethany wore a T-Shirt that said ‘Protect the Dolls’ during #Strictly rehearsals. After posting a video, the BBC …

Last month, Craig returned for his 24th series of Strictly, where Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe took over presenting duties from outgoing hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. The trio received a mixed response for their first few weeks of hosting, and while Emma was widely praised, Josh and Johannes did face some criticism from viewers and critics. Josh Widdicombe, Emma Willis and Johannes Radebe in the Strictly Come Dancing studio Asked for his take on the new hosts, Craig – who, since Tess’ departure, is now the only member of Strictly’s on-screen team to have been with the show since its launch – told The Sun: “As a new team, as we’re all aware, it’s like having a new family member. “You know… you’re just meeting, and the first Christmas together with the daughter’s new husband could be awkward.” “It’s about building relationships,” he continued, insisting that, “in my opinion” the team is doing …

Mis-Teeq's Sabrina Washington Addresses Claims She Announced 'Split' Without Telling Bandmates

Former Mis-Teeq singer Sabrina Washington has denied issuing a press release claiming the group had disbanded without consulting her bandmates. Shortly afterwards, Su-Elise issued a statement of her own, claiming that Mis-Teeq’s ending was “news to me”. “After the incredible response to our sold-out Wembley …

Kaya Scodelario Addresses The Gentlemen Fans’ Eddie And Susie Speculation

Kaya Scodelario has admitted she has mixed feelings at the thought of her character in The Gentlemen ending up with Theo James’ Eddie. The former Skins star recently reprised her role as Susie in Guy Ritchie’s hit Netflix crime drama, which returned for its long-awaited second season earlier this month. She was once again paired up with White Lotus alum Theo in the new run of episodes, and even as their characters’ lives continued in more complicated directions, many fans remain keen to see Susie and Eddie getting together in the show’s future. Asked about this during an interview with Cosmopolitan, Kaya claimed this is a subject she “really doesn’t know” how she feels about. Kaya Scodelario at the premiere of The Gentlemen season two earlier this month “It’s a lot more complicated than that,” she replied when asked about the suggestion that the pair are one another’s “endgame”. “Things take quite a darker turn.
