Tilley’s Bakery, which has been trading for 36 years on the high street of Hythe, Southampton, is now up for sale.
The current owner has owned and managed the bakery for seven years, having completely refurbished the property throughout.
Tilley’s is split across two floors, with the ground floor featuring a modern window display area, counter and sandwich bar and main bakery to the rear.
Upstairs is a spacious storage area, office and toilets.
The bakery sells a wide variety of cakes, pastries, savoury items, bread and sandwiches, as well as catering for large orders.
Business property adviser Christie & Co is managing the sale.
Oliver Guppy, business agent in Christie & Co’s retail division, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to take over a village bakery with a long-standing history in the local community.
“It’s been expertly run for the past 36 years, with a large core of local repeat business buying on a daily basis.
“With a wide variety of products, it caters to a variety of customers, but still has room to grow with the potential addition of new varieties of goods and catering services.
“Having been fully renovated only six years ago, it’s perfectly poised to be handed to a new owner that will continue down the already successful path it’s been on for many years.”
