Server Claims She Brings Kids Whatever They Ask For Even After The Parents Say No

After a server shared her “controversial” take on how she responds when families seated at her tables don’t allow their kids to order what they want, many individuals largely disagreed with her approach. The teen server always brings kid customers whatever they ask for, regardless of what parents say. A server took to TikTok claiming it makes her ‘sad’ to see kids seated at her tables get shut down by their parents, prompting her to intervene. The 18-year-old server Star, who goes by @beemmmoooo, shared a video of herself fixing her hair in the bathroom at work with the text, “This may be controversial but one thing about me that I’m not sorry for is that whenever a family comes to my job and the parents don’t let their kids order what they want and I see they look sad, I look at them, smile, and ask them directly what they want.” “I simply find it very sad when parents don’t let their kids get what they want,” she wrote. Woman Lost Her Job Over Her Reaction To Not Receiving A Tip On A $735 Takeout Order

An Outback Steakhouse server found herself at the center of the ever-divisive debate on tipping practices after her frustration about a low tip caused her to lose her job. The employee was fired over her reaction to not being tipped on a $735 order.  Tamlynn Yoder previously worked at Outback Steakhouse in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida as a takeout employee after working in the restaurant industry for 10 years. She was in charge of taking orders over the phone, packaging and bagging them, and bringing them out to customers’ cars for curbside pickup.  During one of her shifts in February 2018, the Christ Fellowship church in Palm Beach Gardens placed a takeout order consisting of 75 items totaling $735. 25 steaks, 25 potatoes, and 25 chickens to be exact, Yoder told WPBF 25 News. When the group arrived to pick up their order, which took over an hour to prepare, she helped them load up the meals into the car.  However, when the group left, Yoder was shocked to realize that they had left her no …

Linsey Boyd was sacked from the Mason Jar Cafe in Michigan after sharing the money, but the business has said their decision was “nothing to do with the tip”. The restaurant has since been inundated with dozens of negative reviews as Boyd’s supporters criticised the cafe for letting her go. “I was willing to share a $10,000 tip, but was reciprocated with hate and rumours,” Boyd wrote in a since-deleted Facebook post. The alleged problems began with the seemingly positive event, when a middle-aged benefactor, who wanted to remain anonymous, made the generous donation. Woman Changes Server’s Tip From 4 To After Being Accused Of Stealing

Woman Changes Server’s Tip From $154 To $4 After Being Accused Of Stealing

When one couple went out to dinner in their small Southern town, they were excited when their server really connected with them, giving them great service and conversation throughout the night. So when the bill came, they decided to leave a generous tip.  But what followed was far from expected — and ultimately made them change their mind.  The woman took back her $154 cash tip after their server followed her out of the restaurant to accuse her of not paying the bill.  While typical American tips range between 15 and 20 percent of the total bill, this couple decided they would do something a little bit more special. On their $46 bill, the couple left $200 in cash — almost three times the total amount for a tip.  The woman revealed in her Reddit post that she and her husband are financially stable enough that they “can enjoy nice things and like to help others when we can.” One way they frequently do so is by “leaving a large cash tip when a server does particularly well or is …

Syd, under the username @poorandhungry, took to TikTok to reenact a situation she had with a set of customers in a restaurant. “This happened at every brunch shift I’ve ever worked,” the TikToker captioned her video, indicating that it was a regular occurrence. In the video, she was playing the role of both the customers and herself as she began to ask the group as a server if she could get them started with coffee or mimosas. “We brought our own coffees — I hope that’s fine,” the “customer” said, before asking Syd for “warm water.” The server went on to explain that they were in a restaurant and couldn’t allow outside food and beverages. “Looks like you’re almost …
