At the climax of the Republican National Convention last night, former President Donald Trump’s nomination-acceptance speech was a disheveled mess, endless and boring. He spoke for 93 minutes, the longest such speech on record. The runner-up was another Trump speech, in 2016, but that earlier effort had a certain sinister energy to it. This one limped from dull to duller. Somebody seems to have instructed Trump that he was supposed to have been spiritually transformed by the attempt on his life, so he delivered the opening segment of his address in a dreary monotone, the Trump version of pious solemnity. After that prologue, the speech meandered along bizarre byways to pointless destinations. A few minutes before midnight eastern time, Trump pronounced a heavy “to conclude”—and then kept going for another nine minutes. Perhaps it was the disorienting aftereffect of shock, perhaps the numbing side effect of painkillers. It wasn’t just the gorgeous green shade that caught my eye, but the airy skirt paired with the flattering shirred bodice is ticking all the boxes for the ultimate summer dress.  Floaty midi dresses are so easy to wear during the spring and summer months. The relaxed style stays so comfortable throughout the day, and they can be easily teamed with trainers or sandals for just about any occasion.  The bright green colour is already giving something to your outfit that a neutral shade wouldn’t, so I would keep it simple when styling the M&S number. Atari is reviving the Infogrames brand and retooling it into a publishing label with a brand new acquisition. The relaunched Infogrames, formerly a French video game holding company under the Atari banner, will now focus on publishing and acquiring intellectual properties (IP), starting with We’re Five Games’ Totally Reliable Delivery Service. This comes just a few months after a massive $2 million acquisition from Atari at the end of last year. The ragdoll physics simulation focuses on terrible package delivery couriers, challenging players to use machinery, unusual gadgets, and baffling physics to delivery parcels. The specific terms of the purchase of Totally Reliable Delivery Service were not made public, other than that Atari said it includes the 2019 game, its trademarks, and “underlying property,” as reported by Gaming Industry on April 22. “For decades, Infogrames built a reputation as a publisher and developer of amazing and eclectic games, and we are excited to bring it back,” said Wade Rosen, Chairman and CEO of Atari, in a statement shared on X.
