Teenager dies on New Year’s Day after three-vehicle crash in Dorset | UK News

A teenager has died and three people have been injured after a three-car collision on New Year’s Day. The 18-year-old man died at the scene of the crash, which happened at about 1.30pm on the A35 near Kingston Russell, west Dorset. The teenager, from Cornwall, was a passenger in a black Toyota Aygo, which was in collision with a silver Kia Sorento and a black BMW. His family have been informed, the authorities said. Another three people were taken to hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening. All of the vehicles involved remained at the scene of the incident, which police said is not being treated as a fail-to-stop collision. Two teenagers die, three others seriously injured in three-vehicle crash in Northumberland | UK News

Two teenagers have died and three others seriously injured in a three-car crash in Northumberland. Northumbria police said Connor Lapworth, 18, died at the scene and 15-year-old Corey Mavin, suffered head injuries but died in hospital. The accident involved a Suzuki Vitara, a Range Rover Evoque and a Ford Focus on the A192 Hartford Bank, in Cramlington on Friday. The teens who died, and two of those who suffered serious injuries were in the Suzuki. A 36-year-old woman in the Range Rover was also seriously injured. A 52-year-old female driver of the Ford Focus was uninjured. Northumbria Police said: “Our thoughts are firmly with the families of the two young people who have lost their lives. “We will offer them all of the support they need and ask that their privacy is respected at this time.” Source link
