Steph Curry Says He’s Not Ruling Out Running for President

Steph Curry might crossover to politics in the future!  In an interview with CBS Mornings on Tuesday, the Golden State Warriors star hinted that a career in politics could be possible. “Maybe,” he teased to Jericka Duncan when asked if he could see himself as the president of the United States or in another political role. His reason? My daughter actually — I’m really proud of her,” Ayesha said. “She’s a star in her school Cats play, so I’m very excited. She’s playing Grizabella, and I’m just so proud.” Ayesha started her own acting career in the early 2000s and has had roles in shows like Hannah Montana, The Bold Type, Ballers and A Black Lady Sketch Show. She took a pause from her acting career after marrying Steph in 2011 and welcoming Riley, Ryan, 8, and Canon, 5. Ayesha is also currently pregnant with their fourth child. Ayesha Curry is loving pregnancy her fourth time around. ET’s Rachel Smith spoke to the 34-year-old actress ahead of the arrival of her and husband Steph Curry‘s fourth child, and Ayesha explained why this pregnancy has been different than her past three. “Interestingly enough, I love being a little bit older and having this experience,” Ayesha told ET. “I feel like there’s so much more gratitude that I’m experiencing and just every little thing is so special. I’m just in a space mentally where I’m more appreciative, and so it’s just been [an] entirely different experience.” Ayesha and Steph, who tied the knot in 2011, are parents to Riley, 11, Ryan, 8, and Cannon, 5. The cookbook author announced her baby on the way earlier this month by posing for the cover of Sweet July Magazine‘s first digital issue. In the accompanying interview, Ayesha said that, though she and Steph “thought we were done” after welcoming their third child, the couple decided they wanted a fourth last year. This time around, Ayesha “made it a point not to be …

LeBron’s NBA Is Harder Than Jordan’s Was

LeBron’s NBA Is Harder Than Jordan’s Was

Whatever basketball’s blue-collar bona fides, whatever its associations with the barbershop and the neighborhood blacktop, its culture has proved hostile to at least one category of everyman: the plumber. A few years ago, fans on YouTube and TikTok began uploading grainy footage of star players from previous decades and zooming in on the defenders, usually white guys with short shorts, long mustaches, and very little muscle definition. After these players were centered and freeze-framed, a voice-over would deride them as “plumbers.” As in: “Michael Jordan played against plumbers.” Basketball fans love to argue about the evolution of the game, and whether yesterday’s superstars had it easier. Putting aside the meme-makers’ contempt for tradesmen, they’re right: Today’s professionals do look more athletic and skilled than their predecessors. But then again, today’s fans are steeped in the current visual style of the game, which has changed over the past few decades. We may underestimate former players’ explosiveness, fluidity, and precision. To find out whether NBA gameplay has indeed become more challenging, I embarked on an investigation—and I …
