During weeks of sightings pooling out of states such as New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Virginia, Massachusetts, California, Ohio, and Utah, some observers reported seeing aircraft as large as SUVs. Now, state and local officials are demanding answers from Washington. A Dec. 17 joint statement released by the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the Department of Defense confirmed more than 5,000 reported drone sightings in the past few weeks, “with approximately 100 leads generated.” These reports consist of a “combination of lawful commercial drones, hobbyist drones, and law enforcement drones, as well as manned fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and stars …

WASHINGTON : A Pentagon report on unidentified flying objects said U.S. government investigations since the end of World War Two have found no evidence of extraterrestrial technology and had concluded that most sightings were misidentified ordinary objects and phenomena. The report released on Friday follows on from a 2022 Pentagon announcement that its then newly formed All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) had not found any evidence to suggest that aliens have visited Earth or crash-landed here. Under the 2023 National Defense Authorization Act, ARRO was required to issue a report to Congress detailing the governments historical record relating to “unidentified anomalous phenomena” (UAP) since 1945. It delivered the first of two volumes of that to Congress last week, Pentagon Press Secretary Major General Pat Rider said in statement accompanying the release of the unclassified version. “AARO found no evidence that any USG investigation, academic-sponsored research, or official review panel has confirmed that any sighting of a UAP represented extraterrestrial technology,” the report’s executive summary said. “Although many UAP reports remain unsolved or unidentified, AARO assesses …

Residents from a rural community on the outskirts of Stroud, Glos., took to social media in confusion and concern after spotting the primate walking about. Some wondered whether the monkey had escaped from its owner. The alarm was first raised by a local resident, posting on the Whiteshill & Ruscombe Community group on Facebook: “Strange question, but is anyone looking for a lost monkey?! “Seen walking down across the fields from Whiteshill to the main road”. “My mother in law who also saw it and grew up in India thinks it’s a spectacled langur”. Several people were quick to dismiss the claims, but Melody was not the only person to see the furry runaway.
