Is The Madame Blanc Mysteries returning for season 5?

Thankfully, they were drawn back together in the finale – and, in a hugely joyous development, Dom asked Jean to marry him and she said yes, because of course she did! But will we be invited to the wedding? Read on for everything we know so far about a potential Madame Blanc Mysteries season 5. Has The Madame Blanc Mysteries been renewed for season 5? There’s currently no word on the future of The Madame Blanc Mysteries, but Sally Lindsay previously said she’ll “write it as long as they want it”. “I’m not under any, ‘Yes, I’ll quit when I’m on a high.’ No, I won’t,” she added. “I love it so much. I will do it until they want me to not do it, to be honest, because it’s such a special thing in my life. And it’s such a part of our lives now. And it’s great for us because Steve [White, Lindsay’s husband] does the music as well, so it’s something we share. And the boys [they share two sons, Victor and …

IT Crowd’s Chris O’Dowd on aliens, returning to a ‘broke’ and ‘down’ London, and his new show Small Town, Big Story | Ents & Arts News

Actor and comedian Chris O’Dowd has described moving back to London from the US, finding people in the city are “down” after a decade of cutbacks. The IT Crowd star returned to London from Los Angeles with his wife Dawn O’Porter and their two children a year ago. “It’s just gone through 10 years of austerity, and you can feel it off it,” he told Sky News. “People are down, is the impression I’m getting. I don’t know if it’s because of the divisive political culture or whether it’s because people are broke as s**t because they haven’t put any money into public services for so long, and now they’ve said they’re not going to do it either because they’re not going to raise taxes, so I don’t know what they’re going to do. But everybody is… it would be hard to say it’s improved.” Asked if he sensed any optimism that things would change for the better, he replied: “Not yet.” O’Dowd said the decision to return to the UK “wasn’t because Trump got …

Ross Kemp returning to EastEnders as Grant Mitchell for soap’s 40th anniversary | UK News

Ross Kemp is returning to Albert Square in celebration of EastEnders’ 40th anniversary. The 60-year-old first made his debut as Grant Mitchell in 1990 and has returned to the soap a number of times over the past 35 years. He last appeared in the show in 2016 but will reprise his role this year in what the BBC has described as an “explosive” storyline. Kemp said: “I’m delighted to be returning to EastEnders as the show heads towards its 40th anniversary. “EastEnders has always meant so much to me, so to return as the show is about to celebrate such a special anniversary is an absolute honour. “Grant has never been far from the action and, let’s just say, this time is no different as he certainly comes back with a bang.” EastEnders first aired on 19 February 1985. The character of Grant will return to the show as his brother Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) struggles with loneliness. The pair’s childhood best friend Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley) has also recently returned to the square after …

SpaceX will attempt historic catch of returning Starship booster on Sunday

SpaceX will attempt historic catch of returning Starship booster on Sunday

Starship is ready to fly again — and for the first time, SpaceX is going to try to bring the booster back to the launch site to catch it with a pair of oversized “chopsticks.” SpaceX will launch the mammoth Starship on Sunday in a launch window that opens at 5 AM PST (7 AM local time) from the company’s Starbase site in southeast Texas. This flight, which will be the fifth in the Starship development program, is coming a little sooner than expected: the Federal Aviation Administration had previously said that it did not anticipate issuing a modified launch license for this test before late November.  That timeline gave much umbrage to SpaceX, leading the company to repeatedly call out what it characterized as the regulator’s inefficiency. But the world’s most powerful launcher will take to the skies sooner than expected after all, with the FAA announcing on Saturday it had approved the launch for tomorrow. “The FAA determined SpaceX met all safety, environmental and other licensing requirements for the suborbital test flight,” the …

Are we returning to the days of Acts? – OpentheWord.org

Tongues of Fire falling on the Day of PentecostCredit: Wellcome Collection, Wikipedia, CC BY 4.0 Attribution 4.0 International When we read Acts, we are struck by how the Holy Spirit moved in powerful ways resulting in healings, deliverance, salvation, Holy Spirit baptism, and prophetic guidance through dreams, visions, and prophecy. But God also moved in other unique ways. This included direct intervention, which included eliminating a government leader who interfered with God’s plans for the Kingdom of God. King Herod Agrippa, the grandson of King Herod the Great, had just ordered a Christian leader, James the brother of John, to be executed by the sword and then ordered the arrest of the Apostle Peter (Acts 12:1-5). A few verses later, we read that an angel not only broke Peter out of prison, but how another angel, probably the same one, also publicly struck down King Herod, “because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and died” (Acts 12:23). God was divinely intervening in the political landscape during the book …

‘Nothing justifies what we have witnessed here’: the doctors returning home from Gaza | Gaza

Just a few days after arriving at a hospital outside Rafah in the Gaza Strip, Dr Omar El-Taji – a urologist who usually works in Manchester – was woken up at 2am to operate on an urgent case. “A man in his 30s was brought in after his entire building was bombed,” he says. “He had an open wound to his abdomen, his hand was falling off, and his ankles were completely mangled.” The man was quickly taken into the operating room. “The shrapnel had completely sliced through him – I had never seen anything like it,” says El-Taji. El-Taji, right, a urologist in Manchester, went to volunteer in Gaza in May. Photograph: Courtesy of FAJR Scientific The patient survived the surgery, but died two days later after he went into renal failure due to sepsis as there was no dialysis available. “This would not have happened in a healthcare system that was adequately resourced,” he says. El-Taji was part of a group of international doctors who spent three weeks in Gaza, operating under the …

Rory McIlroy not returning to PGA Tour board after ‘old wounds’ reopened | Rory McIlroy

The internal politics of the PGA Tour have been placed into sharp focus after Rory McIlroy was astonishingly prevented from returning to a position of power within the organisation. The inability of McIlroy to take places on the PGA Tour policy board and as a director of PGA Tour Enterprises is certain to cause consternation among sponsors and partners, including the European Tour Group. Webb Simpson planned to resign from both boards, with the former US Open champion offering specific instruction that he wanted McIlroy to take on the positions. The 35-year-old, who has been frustrated at the time being taken to unify golf, was happy to step forward. This, however, triggered ructions on the all-powerful PGA Tour policy board. Members include Tiger Woods, Patrick Cantlay and Jordan Spieth and there is no European representation. McIlroy has clashed previously with Cantlay and Spieth over golf’s future. After delay upon delay at holding a vote over McIlroy’s return – he resigned from the policy board last November, citing time constraints – Simpson will remain in place. …

Mains water begins returning to 32,500 East Sussex properties after pipe burst | East Sussex

Water has started to return to more than 30,000 homes in East Sussex after a main burst three days ago. Southern Water said in an update on Sunday afternoon that supplies were “gradually being restored” to about 32,5000 properties in St Leonards-on-Sea and Hastings. However, the company said 3,500 homes in the east of Hastings would lose supply temporarily from Sunday afternoon to preserve water for the area of the town including the hospital while the network was “recharged”. It added that it expected supplies in these areas to return on Monday. Southern Water said on Sunday afternoon: “This phased return of supplies to homes and businesses will see lower-lying areas and those nearest to Beauport coming back into supply first, with the remainder following as pressure increases in the pipes between now and tomorrow morning. “Specifically, west and central areas of St Leonards-on-Sea, west Hastings and rural areas around Westfield should see supplies return gradually during the rest of Sunday. “However, it will take longer for areas north of Hollington and east Hastings and …

Kourtney Kardashian Gets Candid About Her Postpartum Body and Returning to Work

Kourtney Kardashian had some relatable feelings about returning to work following the birth of her and Travis Barker‘s son, Rocky Thirteen. On Saturday, the Kardashians star, 45, shared some behind-the-scenes photos from a photoshoot for the upcoming season of her family’s Hulu series and reflected on her body image at the time. “BTS shooting all the promos for our @kardashianshulu billboards n’ stuff for season 5! I was 3 months postpartum and not feeling quite ready for a big shoot like this where there’s lots and lots of people watching me all day,” she wrote on Instagram. “And even though my baby boy was with me all day on set it’s not the same when I’m covered in makeup, in high heels and wearing a dress versus our snuggly days at home in pajamas.” Kardashian’s post led with a picture of her standing in front of a green screen and wearing a brown knit dress. The post followed with a video from the shoot. Rounding out the post was a mirror selfie of her body …
