Princess Eugenie’s update on King Charles’s health during appearance to support Camilla | Royal | News
On an Easter engagement, the King’s niece, Princess Eugenie updated the public on her uncle’s health condition, stating he is “doing well”. The Princess was asked by an ITV reporter about King Charles’s health status while she was conducting an engagement for a conservation charity founded by Queen Camilla’s late brother, Mark Shand. Smiling, Princess Eugenie, 33, said to the reporter: “Thank you for asking. He’s doing well.” She added: “He would also be very proud today because the Elephant Family is very close to his heart too.” Eugenie is patron of the Elephant Family, a charity which was founded in 2003. According to the charity’s website, Mark dedicated the last 27 years of his life to saving the Asian elephant and approached the task “at full throttle”. He made his life’s purpose to bring this forgotten animal to the forefront of people’s minds. To promote Queen Camilla’s late brother’s charity, Princess Eugenie read to young school children in Chelsea, and joined in with an abnormally large Easter Egg hunt, in honour of her “dear friend”. …
