The official name for the NCIS spinoff with Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly has been revealed.  The iconic TV duo — who play Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo — shared the news on Tuesday via a video posted on Paramount’s official Instagram account.  “This isn’t a drill! ???? NCIS: Tony & Ziva, starring Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, is coming to #ParamountPlus! ????,” the caption read. Escobar, a narco-terrorist who was killed in a shootout in 1993, was the leader of the infamous Medellín Cartel and over decades of drug-trafficking became one of the world’s leading cocaine barons. Wednesday’s court decision came after EUIPO previously refused to accept the registration as Escobar’s name, and what the European public associates with it, contradicted EU values. “EUIPO rejected the application for registration on the ground that the mark was contrary to public policy and to accepted principles of morality,” a press release from the Court of Justice of the European Union said Wednesday, adding that EUIPO had relied on the perception of the Spanish public. According to the court, “reasonable Spaniards, with average sensitivity and tolerance thresholds” who shared European values “would associate the name of Pablo Escobar with drug trafficking and narco-terrorism and with the crimes and suffering resulting therefrom.” In its original decision in February 2023, EUIPO also referenced a ruling in which the registration of a restaurant chain called “La Mafia se sienta a la Mesa” (“The Mafia sits at …

Cote de Pablo delighted fans with a surprise return to screens in celebration of the 1000th episode of NCIS on Monday.  The actress, who played Ziva David in the long-running CBS drama, appeared in a video message aired on the CBS show The Talk to mark the special milestone.  “A thousand episodes. Juan Pablo Galavis played the role of a proud dad during Sunday’s final audition episode of American Idol. The Bachelor alum’s 14-year-old daughter, Camila Galavis, auditioned for the ABC music competition and became the youngest contestant on this season.  The freshman in high school introduced her reality star dad, telling judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan, “My dad, he’s a manager in the social media industry because he was on The Bachelor.” After Camila revealed who her famous dad is, Bryan quipped of Juan Pablo, “He’s dreamy!”  Of course, Juan Pablo made a cameo, sitting in on his daughter’s audition. The daughter of former Bachelor star Juan Pablo Galavis is now an American Idol contestant. Camila Galavis, who was 4 when her father starred on the ABC reality show, is now a freshman in high school and auditioned on Sunday night’s episode of the network’s singing competition for judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Camila, who hails from Venezuela, lives in Miami.
