Tesla is preparing to enter limited trial production of the new Model Y “Juniper” refresh in its Shanghai factory on October 22nd, according to a Chinese car blogger. Tesla released its “Highland” Model 3 refresh last August, and it was a much more significant overhaul than we were expecting. The headline features were a new front-end, more efficiency, and a quieter cabin. But there were a lot of other interior improvements as well (and one big de-provement, the deletion of steering column stalks). Since then, there has been speculation that a Model Y refresh is coming soon. While the Model Y is not currently as old as the Model 3 was when it received its refresh, it stands to reason that there would be a number of people who are now waiting for a potential Model Y refresh before buying the car. So Tesla likely feels more of a sense of urgency to update the Model Y, which is their (and the world’s) best-selling vehicle after all. The more people think a refresh is coming …

Or, if you want to quote Don Henley, it was “the end of the innocence.” It happened exactly a year ago, on Oct. 7, 2023. At about 7 a.m. that Shabbat morning, my phone started buzzing with a message from a good friend. “I am so so sorry about what has happened in Israel.” With that, I turned on the television. Then began the longest day of my life and of our collective Jewish lives. Oct. 7 is still here. The sun has not yet set on that day. I have been spending the High Holy Days in Warsaw, Poland. It is difficult to walk more than a few yards without sensing the twin histories of Jewish grandeur and Jewish vulnerability. Senior Pentagon and Department of State officials warned US President Joe Biden’s administration of potential Israeli war crimes days after the start of the October 7, 2023, war on Gaza, an investigation by the Reuters news agency finds. Reuters reported on Friday that after reviewing three sets of email exchanges between senior US administration officials, dated between October 11 and 14, officials had sounded the alarm that a rising death toll in Gaza could violate international law and affect US ties to the Arab world. “The messages also show internal pressure in the Biden administration to shift its messaging from showing solidarity with Israel to including sympathy for Palestinians and the need to allow more humanitarian aid into Gaza,” the investigation found. Tesla will unveil its Robotaxi product at Warner Bros. studio in Burbank, CA, on October 10th, according to a report by Bloomberg. Tesla has been using its Giga Texas facility for its unveilings in recent years, after many years of doing them in Calfornia, where the company was founded and where its design and engineering departments remain. Many of these happened in or around Hawthorne, California, where the Tesla Design Studio is – so it makes sense that nonpublic concepts would be housed in the same area. But Tesla will branch out to another company’s facility for it’s October 10th unveiling, choosing to stage it at a large movie set in nearby Burbank, on the north end of the LA area. Tesla may have chosen the location due to its simulation of a suburban neighborhood. There are several houses and a simulation of a small-town downtown area. The idea could be to demonstrate to attendees what it might be like to get picked up by a robotaxi outside your home, and taken downtown for a …

While the Jews for the most part had rejected Jesus as their promised Messiah, in his letter to the Romans, the Apostle Paul writes, that there was a day coming when “all Israel will be saved,” (Romans 11:26). At the end of the age, we would see the Jews in mass accepting Jesus as their Messiah, and we may already be seeing hints of what is to come. Jews for Jesus is an organization made up of Messianic Jews dedicated to presenting the gospel to Jews around the world, including Israel. The organization, which is headquartered in San Francisco, also has offices in both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. According to a statement on its website, the organization has noticed an increased interest in the New Testament among Israeli Jews since the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack. Since the terrorist attack, the nonprofit has received over 1,200 requests for the New Testament from Jews in Israel. OSWIECIM, Poland: Several thousand Jews, including Holocaust survivors personally affected by the Oct 7 Hamas attacks on Israel, walked through the former Auschwitz Nazi German death camp on Monday (May 6) for the annual March of the Living ceremony in Poland. Walking along the three kilometre path towards the crematoria of Birkenau, they paid tribute to the millions of Jews murdered by the Nazis during World War Two. This year’s ceremony was overshadowed by the events last year when 1,200 people were killed in a Hamas-led rampage through Israeli towns and 253 hostages were taken, according to Israeli tallies.
