Zach Galifianakis Joins ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 4 (Exclusive)

Zach Galifianakis is checking into the Arconia for season 4 of Only Murders in the Building!  On Sunday, Eva Longoria exclusively confirmed to ET that The Hangover alum, 54, has joined the cast of the Hulu show in an undisclosed role and that they have already been hard at work on the new season.  “We started shooting,” Longoria, 48, told ET’s Nischelle Turner and Kevin Frazier from the red carpet of the 96th Academy Awards. “I had to pinch myself, we were just on set and it’s Steve Martin, Martin Short, Meryl Streep, Molly Shannon, Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis, me — Selena Gomez… and I’m like, ‘Where am I?’” In a statement to ET, Hulu confirmed Galifianakis’ role in the show and shared that he will play “a character that becomes integral to the twist and turns of this season’s investigation.”  ET previously shared that all of the other actors mentioned by the Flamin’ Hot director on Sunday had joined the cast in recurring or returning roles. Additionally, Eternals star Kumail Nanjiani will also recur as “a character …

More familiar faces are checking into the Arconia for season 4! ET confirmed on Monday that Kumail Nanjiani will be joining Only Murders in the Building for a recurring role in the upcoming season — playing “a character that becomes integral to the twist and turns of this season’s investigation.”  The Eternals star is the most recent addition to the cast, following the announcement that Eva Longoria — who recently made her feature directorial debut with Flamin’ Hot and is set to return to TV in the upcoming series Land of Women — Eugene Levy and Molly Shannon are also set to join the Hulu series in the upcoming season, which is slated to take place in Los Angeles. Additionally, season 3 guest star Meryl Streep is set to return as actress Loretta Durkin in season 4. From The White Lotus to the Arconia, Molly Shannon is headed to Only Murders in the Building for season 4.  On Tuesday, ET confirmed that the Emmy-nominated actress, 59, will bring her unique and physical comedy style to the Hulu series for the upcoming season, which is slated to take place in Los Angeles. Deadline was first to report the casting announcement.
