The darts sensation won the Belgian Open with an 8-7 win against Rob Cross, hitting the nine-darter to go 6-5 up. Littler’s victory included six maximums compared to his opponent’s five in a see-saw battle. Cross averaged 108 for the match and Littler 104, but it was the latter who collected the £30,000 winner’s prize. Littler, who also hit a nine-darter when winning on his World Series debut, said afterwards: “I’m just glad to get over the line. “I hit the nine and then lost the next two legs, so I’m just glad to get over the line. It’s always good to be involved in a good game. We visited Millennium Café, where Luke Littler ate his omelettes

For the money, fries are included. I think Millennium serves Maxi Fries or similar — 10mm, my favourite size, and excellent as far as bought-in goes: that crispy outside coating but tender within. I paid extra for salad and appreciated the lettuce because it was shredded, the cucumber because it was chopped into thin batons, and the tomatoes because they were juicy and small. This style of salad might be because the owners (of ten years; the café has been there 25) are Turkish. Kebabs are on the menu alongside the fry ups, jacket potatoes and £3.50 sandwiches. Phenomenal price for a salad in 2024, by the way.  Source link
