Ciara and Russell Wilson are grateful for their family of six this Easter.  The couple is currently vacationing in Mexico with their four children, and on Saturday, the NFL quarterback, 35, shared an Instagram carousel with photos from their trip.  “Grateful for Family. Jesus continues to amaze me! HIS Sacrifice for us all. His Grace & Love for us all is more than enough!” Wilson captioned the pictures. “Forever Grateful for our babies and His Endless Love! @ciara.” In a follow-up post on Sunday, Wilson shared a video montage of his family hanging out with not one but two Easter bunnies, writing, “Thank YOU Jesus for the Greatest Sacrifice! Dying on the Cross for us ALL! Great Joy! ‘And as they went, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they ran to him, grasped his feet, and worshiped him.’ ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭9‬ ‭#HappyEaster ☦️????❤️ We Worship YOU! @Ciara.” The NFL quarterback also posted footage from their kids’ Easter egg hunt on his Instagram Stories. Adam Peaty: ‘It takes huge wisdom to feel grateful for what we have’ | Adam Peaty

Adam Peaty: ‘It takes huge wisdom to feel grateful for what we have’ | Adam Peaty

Adam Peaty looks like a lonely gladiator on the block as, seeing me arrive at his training camp in Tenerife just after seven on a Wednesday morning, he raises his right arm in silent greeting. Work has already begun in the watery sunshine and another four hours will pass before Peaty opens up about coming back from a breakdown just over a year ago. Peaty wears his goggles and a white cap and, seconds later, plunges into the pool to start training as he aims to become the second male swimmer in Olympic history, after Michael Phelps, to win a third successive gold medal in the same discipline. For Peaty this is the 100m breaststroke, an event in which he remained unbeaten for eight years until his shock loss at the Commonwealth Games in 2022. There was a time when Peaty had swum the 20 fastest times in the discipline and, even now, four months from the Paris Olympics, his world record 56.88sec is clearly superior to the 57.69 of his closest rival, Qin Haiyang of …

Read on for what these inspiring women are most grateful for 1. Brogan Garrit-Smith, podcaster: Rejection Brogan Garrit-Smith “As a mother, I feel I should be most grateful for my son. Without a doubt, I am beyond grateful that I have a healthy, happy little boy and he’s up there on my gratitude list, but surprisingly, he’s not the thing I am most grateful for in life. “Instead, I’m most thankful for …

Paul McCartney ‘grateful’ for stolen Höfner guitar return

Paul McCartney ‘grateful’ for stolen Höfner guitar return

Paul McCartney‘s signature, violin-shaped Höfner bass guitar is back in his hands, decades after it was stolen in the 1970s. The Beatles rocker confirmed on Thursday that the instrument had been returned — with the help of the Lost Bass Project, an initiative launched by journalists Scott and Naomi Jones, and Höfner executive Nick Wass. The search began in 2023. “The guitar has been authenticated by Höfner and Paul is incredibly grateful to all those involved,” said a statement on the singer’s website said. The Lost Bass Project announced its discovery online earlier this week, detailing the beginnings of the search and the conditions of McCartney’s guitar, in a blog post. According to the website, the instrument will need professional care to “make it playable again.” The guitar was purchased in 1961. In several Instagram posts Friday, Lost Bass Project shared more pictures of the damages, including broken strings and cracks in the glossy wooden body. Lost Bass Project also revealed information about the night that McCartney’s guitar — a mainstay during Beatlemania in the …

Part of Me Will Always Be Grateful for James Dobson

Part of Me Will Always Be Grateful for James Dobson

My father was a hard man. I spent most of my childhood fearing him. He was a product of the American working class who, as he liked to put it, attended the “school of hard knocks.” He served his country in the Marines, apprenticed as a carpenter, and was a staunch disciplinarian of his three boys. He stood at 6 foot 4 and was quite intimidating. He could also erupt at any moment into a rage that often resulted in corporal punishment. My brothers and I were usually guilty of the crime; still, the penalty did not always match the offense. Although he was raised Roman Catholic, he lived as a functional agnostic. Then he got saved. In 1982, he became a born-again Christian. He started attending Bible studies, praying before meals, cutting back on the foul language, and preaching the Gospel to his family. My father’s spiritual growth was aided by Christian radio, especially James Dobson’s daily Focus on the Family program. Over time, this scary guy became a better father and husband. My …

Derek Hough’s Wife Hayley Erbert Speaks Out in Tearful Video After Skull Surgeries: ‘Grateful to Be Alive’

Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert are taking it one day at a time and feeling grateful for their time together two months after Erbert’s traumatic brain injury.  In an Instagram post on Monday, the Dancing With the Stars judge, 38, and his wife, 29, sat down and provided and update on her condition following the two surgeries she underwent after suffering a cranial hematoma in early December.  “It’s been wild going from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows. But I have to say, throughout this experience, this woman has been unbelievable and her perseverance and her acceptance of the whole situation, her strength, it’s been remarkable to witness firsthand,” Hough says in the video. “She really is a miracle and it’s been miraculous and it’s still a journey.” For her part, Erbert — who was rushed to the hospital on Dec. 6 after she became “disoriented” during a performance on the couple’s Spectacular Symphony of Dance Tour — added that while she is not back to 100 yet, she is making strides daily.  Entertainment Tonight “I’m …

Grateful for E.U. Aid, Ukraine Now Waits for the United States

Grateful for E.U. Aid, Ukraine Now Waits for the United States

Ukrainian officials were quick to thank the European Union Thursday for approving an assistance package of about $54 billion, funds that will help alleviate a potentially severe financial crisis. The money will cover pensions, payments to people displaced by war and routine outlays such as salaries for teachers and doctors. But in thanking his European neighbors, Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, also alluded to uncertainty over future American support, which Ukraine also needs. A $60 billion aid package for Ukraine is currently languishing in the United States Congress. Europe’s commitment, Mr. Zelensky said, would “send a signal across the Atlantic.” “Europe sets the tone for global affairs,” he told the E.U. leaders in a video address. “The E.U. has proven that its word matters.” Ukraine relies on foreign financial aid for about half of its national budget and on foreign military assistance for a majority of the ammunition and weaponry for its full-scale war against Russia, now approaching the end of its second year. The European assistance, which will be spread out over four years as …

Russia-Ukraine war live: Zelenskiy ‘grateful’ to Biden for support as Moscow criticises US president for ‘smart investment’ comment | Ukraine

Zelenskiy grateful to Biden for his ‘strong signal of support’ Helen Livingstone Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskiy has said he is grateful to Joe Biden for his “strong signal of support”, after speaking to the US president shortly before he gave a rare Oval Office address in which he asked Americans to back further military aid to both Ukraine and Israel. Zelenskiy said he had discussed a “significant support package for our country” in his telephone call with Biden, who said in his speech that he would send an urgent budget request to Congress on Friday to fund support for Kyiv and Israel. “It’s a smart investment that is going to pay dividends for American security for generations,” Biden said. Moscow immediately hit back, saying Biden’s comments betrayed a cynical attitude to the war in Ukraine. “They used to call it ‘fighting for freedom and democracy’,” foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on Telegram. “Now it turns out it is just calculations. It has always been that way, they just fooled the world using values for …
