On Friday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle touched down in Nigeria for a trip that continues Harry’s recent focus on the Invictus Games. At the invitation of Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Badaru, the country’s minister of defense, the couple will spend three days in the country meeting with service members and and attending related events. Soon after debarking a British Airways flight, Meghan and Harry traveled to Lightway Academy, a school in capital city Abuja, for the kickoff of a mental health summit hosted by Geanco International, a charity that supports medical care and education in Nigeria. In 2023, Meghan and Harry’s foundation, Archewell, worked with Geanco to provide school supplies and menstrual products to more than 2,500 girls. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be set to release a new picture of Prince Archie to mark his fifth birthday on Monday. Meghan gave birth to Archie in the UK in May 2019 – but the couple’s son has spent the majority of his life in America.
